We are located in historic Bouckville, NY in the geographic center of the state on Route 20 in Madison County. Map to the Museum

Our Museum and the five mile Towpath Trail with its 2+ mile extension into the Village of Hamilton are our main attractions in addition to special seasonal events.

The self-guided museum is open most days from 10 AM to 5 PM. Audio tour for smart phones is available along the trail here=>

Park at the Museum in Bouckville or at the Courthouse on Montgomery Street in Hamilton and start the trail at the back of the adjacent field.

CCA half-day field school for local 4th graders had 70 students with their teachers and some parents come to the Towpath Trail for workshops and demonstrations on history, nature and conservation.
